CUMC Vision Statement:
“Vitally connecting people to people and people to God.”
Core Values:
Committed to Christ
Worship That Makes a Difference
Making Disciples
There is a reason we take lessons to learn how to drive, fly a plane, swim, and play a musical instrument. Because there are those who can teach us from their experience and because there are concepts and practices that if followed will make us better at our desired task. To be a Christian only begins at accepting Jesus Christ as Lord. The rest of our lives is learning and growing our knowledge of what it means to live as a Christian. This includes learning scripture, spiritual disciplines, engaging in vibrant Christian community and serving the world as a disciple of Jesus. We exist to help make and grow disciples of Jesus Christ as we learn and grow ourselves.
